Hey Folks! How are you doing? Me, I'm busy as hell putting together a show that is sure to be remembered by all who attend. It's called "Fallout Fest '97". I wanted to put something together that would appeal to all ages and all interests. That's why I have the band line-up that I do. First there's Forest Orange, First Degree, and Nature Kids for those who like that 311, Rage Against the Machine, and Beastie Boys style. Then I've got Kow. This band rocks, so if funk jazz is your flavor, be sure not to miss these guys before they get signed. Now I think I'm in the mood for some jammin'-ass blues, so I called the original band that gets the crowd moving quicker than a cat chasing a mouse - Soul Cactus.
Hmmmm...I think what's needed now is some Ska/Reggae. Only one band can possibly fill that slot: Bughead (nominated for Best Band in the Orlando Music Awards). Damn it! We still need to rock - yes there are still some people who think rock is cool. If you like Tool or Radiohead, Cluj (the coolest, tightest, kick-ass, in-your-face band in existence) is sure to activate your senses in more ways than one.
Still wired? Want some more? Just as the sun is setting and all the booze is catching up with you, we bring you MT Minds - a band who just opened for 311 and who will open for Cypress Hill at the House of Blues. Last, but far from least, comes the Big Cahuna - Big Shirley, also nominated for the Orlando Music Awards.
So, what do you think of the music, huh? Sound like fun? Well, that's just part of what's going on. We also have a bikini contest before Kow goes on, featuring some of Orlando's finest from places like Rachel's, Club Juana, and Hooters. So come on down early and get all hot, sweaty, wet, and dumbfounded by all the beauty (Not to mention all the skin!)
Now that you're all sweaty and hot, what you need to do is jump into the newly renovated pool - just cold enough to cool you off, but warm enough not to shrivel anything vital. If you prefer water activities, why not rent a jet ski and hit the waters of lake Fairview. You can also bring your own boat or ski and use our dock.
